Facederma: WooCommerce to Shopify Plus with B2B for salons

Facederma is a Slovak professional skincare brand with its own clinic in Bratislava. As the developer on the project I handled the move from WooCommerce to Shopify Plus and the full build to the client’s brief, for retail customers and salons alike.

Starting point

The old store ran on WooCommerce. Products, content and customers had to move without losing search rankings, and wholesale had to be separated: salons buy at their own prices with their own access to the store.

02

Project scope

  • MigrationProducts, content, customers and the redirect map moved off WooCommerce.
  • B2B cataloguesA separate wholesale branch for salons, with their own prices and access.
  • Loyalty programmeEarning and spending points tied to the customer account.
  • NewslettersEmail flows configured and signup wired into the store.
  • Catalogue by skin concernCategories built around a specific need, plus filters and bundles.
  • Product pagesIngredients, reviews and related-product recommendations.
03

What runs on the site today

  • The loyalty programme returns 2% of every further order as credit on the customer account.
  • A “Facederma pre salóny” page with partner registration and wholesale pricing.
  • Categories by skin concern, such as wrinkles, acne, pigmentation or hydration.
  • Bundles that list the products they contain.
  • Newsletter signup and partner registration straight from the home page.

My work

The full build to the client’s brief: catalogue structure, a B2B branch for salons, the loyalty programme, email marketing and product pages.

Working on something similar?

Send a short description of where the store is now and what it needs to do. I’ll go through it, ask what is missing and suggest a realistic next step.
